You know how sometimes you cant help but gawk at something, even though it's preposterously wrong...take for instance, you making your way to work early one winter's morning and you see a dancing midget (gnome - to be politically correct) at the stop street in front of you. You happen to have lots and lots of coppers in your wallet and think it's a generous idea to fill up his little top hat collecting frost instead of 'chips'. So you spend the next hour watching this little pint perform in amazement - you know it's wrong to amuse yourself with someones misfortune...but you cannot help it! (If you're a little person...ek is jammer - wait do midgets understand Afrikaans?)
Anyway i know i eluded from the topic...but i did something that would be wrong if i was an orthodox evangelic - Yup i watched 'Angels and Demons' last weekend. I have to say, the story was somewhat interesting, kinda like 'Die Hard' meets Mary and Joseph (Jesus's folk) but i would much rather have watched 'The Bible Uncovered' on National Geographic if i wanted to inject myself with the truth of science instead the truth of the gospel. Don't get me wrong the flick was entertaining but if i had to give a pastor the film review...I would most probably fail and be damned to the pit of hell! Speaking of pit...what if hell is a giant arm pit? I mean sweaty armpits drive people crazy right - that would so be the worst way to punish clean people. You are damned to the armpit of hell...(a topic for another time)
